* The Poet uses a blend of essential oils that mimic the smell of rosewood. No actual rosewood is used as it is classified as endangered.
**Palo Santo wood for the steam distilled essential oil is collected without harming the Palo Santo tree. Our supplier only processes pieces of trees that have been found to have died naturally and fallen in the forest. They also use a percentage of every sale for a large-scale reforestation effort. In 2019 over 4,000 Palo Santo trees were planted using funds from sales. This is a fair trade product. Country of origin is Ecuador. Please note that this tree is critically endangered in Peru, but not in Ecuador where much has been done to preserve and protect the tree for years to come.
