Supply Drive & Crafting Day for Australian Wildlife Relief

The current Australian bushfires have killed as many as half a billion animals, while displacing and injuring potentially hundreds of thousands. Those survivors need the help of crafters worldwide!

Stop in anytime 12pm to 3pm on January 25th to assist with crafting pouches and projects for Australian animals in need. All levels of craft experience are welcome! If you have a working sewing machine, please bring it (pouches must be machine sewn.) Volunteers who do not bring a machine can assist with cutting patterns, cutting fabric, and other parts of the process.

In these weeks leading up to the event we are hosting a materials donation drive to collect supplies to make the pouches. We are also serving as a drop off point for any completed projects you have crafted on your own.
RSVP or share the event!

Supplies we are collecting for the charity crafting:
*Fabrics that are 100% natural fiber only (cotton, bamboo, linen, silk) for the inner lining.
*Fabrics for the outer lining. (Can be cotton, flannelette, polar fleece, wool, jersey, sweatshirt material, etc. Poly blends and synthetics are OK.)
*Needles and thread

Drop off any donations to Wild Cat (3515 N. High St.) during store hours. The crafting event on the 25th will be held in Wild Cat's Clubhouse -- located just around the corner from Wild Cat and behind the Global Gallery Coffee Shop (15 W Dunedin Rd.)
