Saturday, April 4th. 12-3pm
Please join The Matriots PAC and Sarah Marsom, Hertitage Resource Consultant, Crafter, and founder of The Tiny Activist Project for a crafting event like no other in this 100th anniversary year of women's suffrage.
In this workshop, you'll learn about the people, places, and iconography important to the suffrage movement and you'll create your own suffrage banner, as an homage to the suffrage movement and a voice for the political moment for women in America today. You'll also learn how The Matriots is activating that legacy to elect more women of Ohio to political office in this pivotal election year. For more information on the history of suffrage banners, watch this interview with Sarah Marsom on Spoonflower's Blog.
